Please read these terms carefully before booking any service with SBS Service Center. By using our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Overview

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of services provided by SBS Service Center ("we", "us", "our"). By booking a service, calling our helpline, submitting a service request form, or engaging our technicians in any manner, you ("Customer", "you") agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

SBS Service Center is a professional multi-brand home appliance repair company operating across Trivandrum, Guwahati, Jaipur, Kochi, Chennai, and Pondicherry. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Services

SBS Service Center provides doorstep repair and maintenance services for home appliances including, but not limited to:

  • Air Conditioner (AC) repair, servicing, and gas refilling
  • Washing Machine (front-load, top-load, semi-automatic) repair
  • Refrigerator (single-door, double-door, side-by-side) repair
  • Television (LED, LCD, OLED, Smart TV, QLED) repair
  • Microwave Oven (solo, grill, convection) repair

All services are delivered at the customer's premises. We do not offer pick-up/drop-off service. Service availability may vary based on technician availability and location. We reserve the right to decline any service request at our discretion.

3. Booking & Appointments

Service appointments can be booked via phone call, WhatsApp message, or the service request form on our website. A confirmed booking is subject to technician availability and your physical location being within our service radius.

  • We aim to confirm bookings within 15 minutes of submission.
  • Same-day service is available for bookings made before 12:00 PM.
  • Approximate technician arrival time is communicated at the time of confirmation.
  • We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • You must ensure the appliance and premises are safely accessible for the technician at the agreed time.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices listed on our website are starting prices and serve as indicative estimates only. The final repair cost is determined after our same-day on-site diagnosis and is communicated to the customer before any repair work begins.

  • Diagnosis is completed on the same day. If you decline the repair after diagnosis, only a nominal visit fee may apply (communicated in advance).
  • Prices include labour charges. Spare parts are billed separately at cost.
  • We accept cash, UPI, bank transfer, and major digital wallets.
  • Payment is due upon completion of the service, before the technician leaves the premises.
  • All transactions are subject to applicable GST at the prevailing rate.

We provide a detailed invoice for every service rendered, including part numbers, labour charges, and applicable taxes under GSTIN 08FHNPS2710A2ZF.

5. Warranty Policy

SBS Service Center provides a 90-day warranty on all repairs and spare parts used. This warranty is subject to the following terms:

  • The warranty covers the same fault repaired during the original visit only.
  • Warranty is void if the appliance is tampered with, repaired by a third party, subjected to physical damage, power surge, or misuse after our repair.
  • Warranty does not cover new faults unrelated to the original repair.
  • Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) services carry their own warranty terms as specified in the AMC agreement.
  • To make a warranty claim, contact us at +91-8824136046 or info@sbsservicecenter.com with your original service invoice.
  • Warranty claims are honoured at no additional cost within 90 days of the original repair date.

6. Limitation of Liability

SBS Service Center's liability in any situation is limited to the value of the repair service rendered. We are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing faults or damage not identified during the original repair visit
  • Data loss on smart appliances during software repair or firmware update
  • Consequential, indirect, or incidental damages arising from appliance failure
  • Loss of food, produce, or other perishables due to appliance malfunction before, during, or after repair
  • Damage caused by power surges, voltage fluctuations, or improper electrical wiring at the customer's premises

Our technicians handle all appliances with professional care. However, in the unlikely event of accidental damage caused by our technician during the repair, we will assess the situation and provide a fair resolution at our discretion.

7. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

You may cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment at any time before the technician departs for your location. To cancel or reschedule, contact us via phone or WhatsApp at +91-8824136046.

  • Cancellations made before technician dispatch: No charge.
  • Cancellations after technician dispatch or at the door: A nominal visit fee may apply.
  • No-show (customer not available at the scheduled time without prior notice): A visit fee may apply for re-booking.
  • SBS Service Center reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to technician unavailability, emergencies, or circumstances beyond our control. Customers will be notified promptly.

8. Spare Parts

We use only OEM-certified genuine spare parts sourced from authorised distributors. We do not use counterfeit, duplicate, or grey-market components.

  • All spare parts used are itemised in the service invoice with part numbers.
  • In some cases, OEM parts may not be available. We will inform you and present alternatives (e.g., compatible parts) before proceeding. Your approval is required.
  • Spare parts that have been ordered and installed are non-refundable.
  • Spare parts carry the same 90-day warranty as the repair service.

9. Data & Privacy

By booking a service, you consent to SBS Service Center storing and processing your name, phone number, address, and appliance details for the purpose of service delivery, warranty tracking, and customer support.

  • We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
  • Your information may be used to send service reminders, promotional offers, or warranty notifications via SMS or WhatsApp. You may opt out at any time.
  • All data is stored securely and accessed only by authorised staff.

10. GST & Billing

SBS Service Center is a GST-registered business. Our GSTIN is 08FHNPS2710A2ZF. GST is applicable on all services and parts at the prevailing government-mandated rates.

  • A valid GST invoice is issued for every service upon request.
  • For business customers requiring GST credit, please provide your GSTIN at the time of booking.
  • All billing is done in Indian Rupees (INR).

11. Amendments to Terms

SBS Service Center reserves the right to modify, update, or replace any part of these Terms at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting to our website. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
